RBI is the premier provider of high quality regenerative biologics including stem cell therapy and platelet rich plasma (or PRP) to patients throughout the Treasure Coast and Florida. The RBI team has been developing advanced cell processing techniques and treatment protocols for nearly 15 years. We have been involved in the treatment of thousands of patients worldwide. Our goal is to treat the underlying causes of diseases and tissue damage for patients instead of just treating their symptoms. We do this by harnessing a patient’s own incredible healing capacity, concentrating it and then injecting it directly into an area of need such as an injured or arthritic joint. RBI treatments are minimally invasive and require little down time.
Our team is composed of highly experienced scientists and clinicians who have worked in all facets of the field of regenerative medicine including stem cell therapy, platelet rich plasma therapy, gene therapy, tissue engineering, specialized cell delivery systems and more. Our team has also been involved in major stem cell clinical studies at leading institutions throughout the U.S. and the world including the Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Scripps Research Institute, Mount Sinai, the University of Florida, Columbia University, Duke University, Minneapolis Heart Institute and more.
Mr. Griffeth is an expert in the field of Regenerative Medicine having spent nearly 15 years in the space. He has directed the science & development of a number of pioneering regenerative therapies worldwide. He has worked with clinicians to develop some of the most advanced regenerative medicine treatment protocols and stem cell isolation protocols available. He has traveled the world training clinicians on stem cell processing techniques and stem cell delivery techniques.
He managed some of the largest pre-clinical & clinical trials in the field including using muscle derived stem cells to treat heart failure patients and adipose stem cells to treat orthopedic issues. Mr. Griffeth also played a leading role in developing a gene-modified stem cell treatment that led to the first ever IND approval by the FDA for a stem cell, gene therapy combination therapy. He has a B.S. in Microbiology & Cell Science and Master’s Degree both from the University of Florida.
Dr. Haake trained with leading stem cell scientists & clinicians and has a fervent interest in the field of regenerative medicine due to his lifelong participation in athletics and service in the military. He joined the Regenerative Biologics Institute in order to be on the cutting edge of immunomodulatory therapies including stem cell and PRP treatments. He believes RBI offers a supplementary asset to the medical community and the sophisticated population at large along the Treasure Coast.
As a Specialist in Anesthesiology, Dr. Haake is a highly trained physician that draws on his extensive knowledge in physiology, pharmacology and diseases to guide his treatment techniques. He graduated from McKendree University with a degree in chemistry 2001 and was a 2nd team NAIA All-American outfielder baseball 2000. He played parts of three seasons of minor league baseball in the Frontier League (upper Mid-West) 2000-2002.
After accepting a Health Professions Scholarship from the US Navy was accepted into medical school in fall of 2003 and graduated from Nova SE COM in 2007. He then began active duty US Navy career at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA. After completing his internship in internal medicine he completed one year tour of duty with the 3rd Marine Logistics Group 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force Okinawa, Japan as a General Medical Officer. He then completed residency training in anesthesiology at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and achieved board certification in Anesthesiology.
